Artist's Statement: I met Tony Prieto in the early 1940's at Alfred University, and since then, clay has been a major part of my life. We traded pots for pots, paintings, sculptures and groceries. I curated a major collection of ceramics for Mills College in Oakland, California, and planned exhibitions for the Antonio Prieto Gallery.
