Without a doubt, Winifred Estelle Phillips (1880-1963) of Wisconsin is one of the important educators from the American Movement. She was also a regular exhibitor at the Syracuse Nationals, where she participated in the years of 1933-1935, 1938-1949, 1951, 1952 and 1958. This fine item would complement your Glen Lukens' era collection of important American potters.
