Irene Hoffman (1909-1994)

Marked: Signed with initials as well as comes with almost complete original label.

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Light soiling noted over the body. The applied design has some minor separations---all of this is original to the piece with very solid/beautiful construction. This pot has a high pitch ringing resonance to attest to its fine quality.

Dimensions: 4.50"h x 6.75"w

Notes: Irene C. Hoffman, taught several art related subjects at the college level in the East before settling in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was a regular exhibitor at the Santa Fe Arts and Crafts Guild in the 1960's. We are confident this well thrown specimen with applied decoration is from the same era or possibly earlier. This CandyDish is sure to complement your modern, Southwestern or Clyde Burt era collection.
