Fort Hays, Kansas Paperweight

Marked: Unmarked, this is clearly a production piece created by the Fort Hays Pottery we have seen numerous times. There are some graphite marks on the reverse which were added at one point by the estate, where this item was located.

Condition: There are no chips, nicks, cracks, or repairs. Slight factory glaze thinness noted at the rim. This item is in very nice collector condition.

Dimensions: 1"h x 2.125"w x 3"l

Notes: This Delta Kappa Gamma Honor Society paperweight was produced between 1935-1948, when Vasefinder Museum artist John M. Strange was director of said pottery. This pottery was associated with the National Youth Administration or NYA.
