Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. There are two very small size pinhead flecks to the rim, which I would consider normal wear for this vintage bowl form--I have shown one in the detail photograph at 3 o'clock. Light factory crazing throughout the form, which is just starting to show a hint of aging. WE GUARANTEE CONDITION.

Notes: This lovely thrown bowl form was created by museum listed artist Lulu Scott Backus, who taught for over three decades at the Rochester Institute of Technology (formerly known as Mechanics institute). She was a student of Binns while she studied at Alfred. Our research shows she exhibited at the Syracuse Nationals from 1933-1935, 1937-1941 and 1948.
