Notes: Jack Cannon, who is well listed in the Vasefinder Museum, received his advanced degree from Alfred in 1959. His work was featured in the seminal reference by Dan Rhodes, Stoneware and Porcelain. After a long teaching time at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, he set up a full-time studio in Ripley, Illinois, where this pot was made. This vase or vessel form is a well executed form with lovely glaze design and repeat mid-body carving. Don't miss this fine offering!
