Lloyd
General Turned Wood Bowl Marked:
Lloyd General, 91 for year and Bay for Bay Laurel. Condition:
I don't detect any post-studio damage as cracks, hairlines or chips. There are
some naturally formed shrinkage lines that are clearly one sided in natural as
well as naturally formed knots in the wood. This is a really sweet wood vessel
with minimal marks over the surface. Dimensions
Visually: 4.75"h x 6.75"w Notes:
This Redding, California wood turner is well known for his functional wares, where
he uses redwood, calabash maple and bay laurel for his gorgeous vessel forms.
This item shows minimal use. This is sure to complement your Rude Olsonik or Bob
Stocksdale collections.
