Marked: Signed indistinctly, as shown--appears to be Balikian or Salikian. Also reverse includes two labels noting: Sao Paulo, Brasil and Hipple Market Brazil, Sao Paulo.

Condition: This painting has not been removed from its original framing. The piece appears to be lightly soiled, which is consummate with its age. We do not detect any inpainting or real damage to this lovely painting. All in all, a very nice painting. Light contact marks noted to the frame. We guarantee condition.

Notes: This fine colorful painting on canvas was likely created in the last 30-40 years. The painting is attached to its stretchers by small nailheads. We believe this is likely an academic artist, who was very skilled with the use of a combined palette knife and brush with a bold array of colors. This painting would be perfect for a Southwestern decor.
