Hildegard Herz (1894-1979)

Marked: Signed Hildegard Herz very lightly within subject.

Condition: The subject is in very nice condition with no visible damage. The matt should be replaced for archival reasons. Minor chips and nicks to the frame. I have not removed the painting from the frame, and it is sealed.

Dimensions: The sight measurements are 6.75 inches by 9.5 inches, where as the frame's exterior measurements are approximately 12 inches by 15 inches.

Notes: Hildegard Herz was an early member of the famous Reno Latimer Club. Her works primarily include watercolors as the subject offered here. A retrospective of her work was held at the Great Basin Gallery of Carson City Nevada a couple decades after her passing. Her work is included in Painters of Nevada, 1845-1980 by Robert McFadden.
