Condition: The subject is in very nice condition with no notable damage to the subject. The original frame, which pre-dates the painting many years, has minor nicks and chips, as well some marks and scratches to the glass, which does not detract. The subject has not been removed from the framing. Please note there is glass in front of the subject.

Dimensions: The sight measurements are 3.334 by 4.5 inches for this painting that appears to be on loose canvas.

Notes: Vasefinder is offering this fine oil painting on loose canvas by Eve Penrose, who once lived in Yerington or Lyon County Nevada. She did not start painting until she was in her fifties. She was a regular exhibitor in Northern Nevada at many venues, as well as she was the former president of the Nevada Artist's Association. She is well listed in the Robert McFadden reference Painters of Nevada, 1845-1980. This finely executed painting is of a desert pass and a real signature painting of the Nevada landscape.
