Artist's Statement: I have been exploring the clay medium for over 40 years. I still find it engaging. This piece was formed using a tarpaper mold to support the shape...as taught to me by my mentor, Bill Daley. I seek surfaces that work with the forms and the aesthetic concept. The form of this vessel twists with gestural motion.
