Artist's Statement: Painting, color and form are all equally important components of my clay work. The work is wheel formed white earthenware clay painted with underglazes and clear glazes. It is oxidation fired to cone 04 in electric kilns.

Through the potter's wheel, insights are gained into form; through the painting, insights are gained into myself.
