Artist's Statement: I work in ceramics because it gives me challenges and pleasures--it always has. My work is primarily thrown stoneware; however, due to physical problems relating to aging, I have pieces thrown for me. The piece I'm showing was thrown by Reg Behrends of Drummond, Wisconsin. I hope people will take pleasure in decorative as well as utilitarian use of my work.
