Vaughn was born and reared in East Lansing, Michigan. Her assistantship with John
Glick has provided for not only a great education, but a source to find her own
identity in the medium. Her pots demonstrate maturity of an artist who has a clear
understanding of glaze and form, where her aesthetic defines her unique approach
