Artist's Statement: Return of the Ika (fish) is thrown and joined stoneware with slab coiled additions. This vase has clay scoots inspired by scoots found on some large fish species. The form itself is fusiform. The rhythmic throwing lines, finger marks, joins and surface treatment all signify the pots journey.
