Artist's Statement: In my 46 years of working with porcelain I have always been intrigued with any type of shino glaze. In almost every kiln load I fire a shino piece or at least include a test of one. After years of testing I've fine tuned these shino glazes to a few that I really find very interesting. This vase is a great example of why I love shino's.
