Artist's Statement: The pots I make are wheel thrown generally functional. I attempt to make pots that have an enduring quality and which express my love of the ceramic process. When throwing I try to create a sense of immediacy, movement and freshness in the forms. The work is decorated with slips celadon and shino glazes and fired in a wood kiln.
