Artist's Statement: My clay sculptures concern nature and change. It is change and growth, the effects of these over time, that interests me. Pods bursting with seeds; shells outgrown by their sea inhabitants; tree bark surviving animals and weather; and, in a broader sense, the break through moments of personal change and growth.
