Artist's Statement: My Chinese heritage is the main influence in my work of art. I am inspired by the natural porcelain body and use the delicate carvings of the gingko leaf to add movement into the basic vessel form. I often use the beautiful, natural celadon glaze as it is reminiscent of the smooth jade stone.
