Artist's Statement: I believe a finished pot should be pleasant to look at but should also invite it being handled to enjoy the feel of the shape and glaze. Most importantly, it should invite usage - a mug needs liquid, a bowl needs to hold something, a vase wants a flower or a dried twig.
